Teaching practice second phase week 4

Teaching practice second phase week 4(December 1 to December 5 2025)

Introduction

The fourth week of my second phase teaching practice was a meaningful and reflective one. From December 1st to 5th, 2025, I actively participated in regular school activities and continued my teaching practice with dedication and enthusiasm.

On December 1st and 2nd, the days were normal and smooth. I engaged in my regular teaching sessions, completed the planned portions, and interacted well with students. I tried to make my classes more student-centered by encouraging discussions and asking questions. The students responded positively, and I felt more confident in managing the classroom and maintaining discipline.

The most memorable day of the week was December 3rd, when a special assembly was conducted in connection with World Disabled Children’s Day. The assembly was organized and presented by special children. It was truly inspiring and heart-touching to witness their talents, confidence, and enthusiasm. The program highlighted the importance of inclusiveness, equality, and empathy in society. It reminded me that every child is unique and capable in their own way. This event was the highlight of the week and gave me a deeper understanding of inclusive education.Along with this significant observance, prizes for the drawing and quiz competitions were distributed, recognizing students’ talents and encouraging their active participation. The joyful atmosphere of appreciation and celebration made the assembly both inspiring and memorable.

The main aim of organizing this assembly was to sensitize students towards the needs and rights of children with disabilities and to promote an inclusive mindset within the school community. It helped students develop compassion, social responsibility, and a positive attitude towards diversity. By observing this day, the school emphasized the importance of equality, dignity, and respect for every individual, regardless of their abilities.

Another important aim was to encourage students’ creativity, knowledge, and confidence through the distribution of prizes for the drawing and quiz competitions. Recognizing students’ efforts motivated them to participate actively in co-curricular activities and enhanced their self-esteem. It also fostered a healthy competitive spirit and created opportunities for students to showcase their talents, thereby contributing to their overall personality development.

On December 4th and 5th, the school followed its regular schedule. I continued my normal teaching practice, revised previous topics, and ensured that students understood the concepts clearly. I also focused on improving my teaching strategies and classroom interaction.

Reflection

This week helped me understand the true meaning of inclusive education. The special assembly made me realize that as a future teacher, I must create a classroom environment that supports and respects all learners, regardless of their abilities. It strengthened my belief that education should be accessible and meaningful for every child.

Overall, Week 4 was a balanced mix of regular teaching and a powerful learning experience. It improved my confidence, classroom management skills, and emotional understanding as a teacher. I look forward to continuing my teaching practice with more dedication and sensitivity towards students’ diverse needs.
