Teaching practice second phase week 6

 Week 6 (19 January to 23 january 2026)

Introduction

The sixth week of my teaching practice at Government HSS Koickal was a meaningful and enriching experience. On 19th January 2026, our Physical Education teacher, Pramod Sir, visited the school for observation classes. He observed all our sessions related to Health Education and Yoga. His presence motivated me to be more confident and organized in my teaching. During the week, the school assembly was also conducted, which provided a platform to develop leadership qualities and coordination skills among students.

On 20th, 21st, and 22nd January, the days were regular working days where I actively engaged in teaching my students. These days helped me improve my classroom management skills and interaction with learners. I focused on clear explanation of concepts and encouraged student participation through questioning and discussions. Each day gave me new learning experiences and helped me understand the individual differences among students.

On 23rd January 2026, Sangeetha Miss from Fathima Memorial Training College came for observation at Government HSS Koickal. Her observation and feedback were very valuable for my professional growth.

Reflection

This week strengthened my confidence and teaching competency. The observation sessions helped me identify my strengths and areas for improvement. I realized the importance of proper planning, voice modulation, and engaging students in the learning process. The feedback from both teachers guided me to refine my teaching strategies. Overall, Week 6 was productive and contributed positively to my development as a future educator.
